Why do we collect personal information and what kind of information we collect
We collect and use your personal information for different purposes depending on who you are and how we come into contact with you. We collect the following personal information for the purposes stated here:
In connection with a recruitment process or management recruitment, personnel, CVs, diplomas, personality and ability tests, certificates, references and application, are relevant information. Processing of personal data is done on the basis of consent that you have given, either when you submit an application or when you are in contact with us in connection with management recruitment.
In connection with team and candidate assessments, personnel, CV, diploma, personality and ability test, relevant information. Processing of personal data is done on the basis of consent you have given or in connection with an agreement with your employer. In connection with a completed recruitment process or manager recruitment, your personnel and CV are relevant information to be relevant for other positions. Processing of personal data is done based on consent that you have given after the completion of the recruitment process.
Disclosure of personal data to others
We will not pass on your personal information to others unless there is a legal basis for such disclosure. Examples of such a basis will typically be your consent or a legal basis that requires us to disclose the information.
In a recruitment process, we will send your personal information to our client. Our client is thus a data processor. We enter into a data processing agreement in our contract with the client.
In a team or candidate assessment, we will process personal information for our client. Our client is thus a controller, and we are a data processor. We enter into a data processing agreement in our contract with the client.
Bønes Virik AS uses data processors to collect, store or otherwise process personal data on our behalf. In such cases, we have entered into agreements to safeguard information security at all stages of the processing.
All processing of personal data we process takes place within the EU / EEA area.
Shelf life
We store your personal information with us for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which the personal information was collected. This means, for example, that the personal data that we process on the basis of your consent will be deleted if you withdraw your consent. The personal information we process to fulfil an agreement with you is deleted when the agreement is fulfilled and all obligations arising from the agreement are fulfilled. We have used HR Norway’s privacy advisor to support this work. The standard time for deletion of personal information in connection with recruitment or management selection is 1-3 years. Team and candidate assessments are usually deleted within one year.
Your rights when we process personal information about you
You have the right to demand access, rectification or deletion of the personal data we process about you. You also have the right to demand limited processing, object to the processing and demand the right to data portability. To exercise your rights, you must contact us at personvern@bonesvirik.no. We will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible, and within 30 days at the latest.
In special cases, we will ask you to confirm your identity or to provide additional information before allowing us to exercise your rights to us. We do this to make sure that we only give access to your personal information to you – and not someone who claims to be you.
You may at any time withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data with us. The easiest way to do this is to contact us at personvern@bonesvirik.no.
If you have applied for a job through a trainee program, you can log in with your profile at www.webcruiter.no to delete your information.
Complaints
If you believe that our processing of personal data does not match what we have described here or that we in other ways violate the privacy laws, you may complain to Datatilsynet – the Norwegian Data Protection Agency.

Amendments
If there is a change in our services or changes in the regulations regarding the processing of personal data, it may result in a change in the information provided here.
